The capital city has unveiled a new mural to honour essential workers.

The mural, in partnership with several local arts organizations, was unveiled at the Avalon Mall this morning.

The mural, which includes four separate panels, pays tribute to frontline and essential workers during the pandemic.

It was painted by artists Molly Margaret, Amber-Lynn Thorne, Anastasia Tiller, and Nelson White.

The city provided $18,000 towards the $27,000 project.
