Microsoft Canada and the National STEM Leadership Program are partnering to bring free virtual after-school coding classes to children in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Children will learn sequencing, coding and the data science behind creating video games.
Miguel Mojica of Microsoft Canada says students will learn more about how coding fundamentals work, including block-based coding and even python.
It will help them be able to see what makes video games like Minecraft work.
Free registration is now open to up to 10,000 students. The first session is Monday, May 17.
