Newfoundland and Labrador reported 14 new confirmed positive cases and one new presumptive positive case of COVID-19 over the weekend.
All of the newly confirmed cases, five on Saturday and nine on Sunday, were related to travel within Canada.
With 15 recoveries on the weekend, the province’s number of active cases rests at 85, with one person in hospital.
The presumptive positive case was reported in the Western Health region and is related to a previously identified case in the Codroy Valley area. The number of cases in that area is eight, however, there is still no evidence of community transmission.
