Two drivers got more than they bargained for on Sunday.

Metro police responded to a possible impaired driver in the middle of the afternoon.

The RNC pulled over a 23-year-old man at about 2:30 p.m. where he blew twice the legal limit and was found breaching a release order.

The vehicle was impounded and the driver released to appear in court later.

About 12 hours later, the RNC caught up with another impaired driver in centre city. In that case, the suspect is a 35-year-old woman who was impaired by drugs.

Her vehicle was impounded and she was released for a future court date.
