Students who have already chosen their courses for September will still be able to sub one out in favour of a new technology offering.
The College of the North Atlantic is teaming up with the English School District and government on enhancements to digital learning at the high school level to allow an easier transition to post-secondary.

Goronwy Price, chair of the school board, says the pandemic revealed weak spots in the education system in terms of connectivity. If there is to be a transition to the new economy, Price says there will have to be additional financial resources.
He says the good thing about this project is that it’s a pilot so that when it does expand, it can go into schools that can handle the program itself.
