Another team of health care workers departed for Ontario this morning to help that province in its fight against COVID-19.
The team of three registered nurses from Eastern Health left St. John’s on a commercial flight for the city of Vaughn to work out of Mackenzie Health for approximately three weeks.
This is the third team of health care workers from Newfoundland and Labrador to help Ontario with the third wave of the virus.
The first team of nine left for Ontario in late April 27, the second team of seven departed on May 4.
