VOCM News has been named as a finalist in two categories for the 2020 Atlantic Journalism Awards and has won a regional award with the Radio, Television, Digital News Directors Association of Canada.

VOCM News has been named in Atlantic Journalism Awards’ Breaking News Radio category for our coverage of Snowmaggedon with Greg Smith, and in the Best Radio News Cast category for our January 22nd, 2020 VOCM News at Noon package with Brian Madore.

VOCM News has also won an RTDNA regional award for VOCM News at Noon hosted by Brian Madore. VOCM News had four nominations in the radio category.

That award-winning news package now goes up against the best in Canada at the RTDNA’s national awards to be selected June 3rd.
