There are four new confirmed cases of COVID in the province today. Two are in the Eastern Health region and there are one each in the Central and Western Health regions.
Two are travel-related, one is a close contact of a previous case, and one—in the Central Health region—is under investigation. Contact tracing is underway.
One presumptive positive case, reported earlier this week, remains.
Two people are now in hospital with 72 known active cases in the province.
The Department of Health is advising rotational workers about identified COVID outbreaks at two work sites in Alberta. They are the Cenovus Christina Lake site and the Civeo McClelland Lake Lodge.
Rotational workers with those projects who have returned to the province in the last 14 days must self-isolate, physically distance away from household members, and contact 811 to arrange for testing.
