A man wanted by police on an arrest warrant is back in custody awaiting a court appearance this morning.
Thirty-seven-year-old Robert Newell was arrested yesterday around 4:30 p.m.
The RNC K9 unit, Criminal Investigation Division, and Operational Patrol Services executed a warrant on a residence in center city St. John’s and conveyed Newell to HMP Lockup for court in the morning.
He is facing multiple counts of theft and breach of court orders.
