Three students from this province are taking home bronze medals at this year’s Canada Wide Science Fair.
Twelve students represented Newfoundland and Labrador at the virtual fair hosted by Carlton University in Ottawa from May 17 to May 21.
Livi Allen and Nicholas Qiu of Holy Heart of Mary High School, as well as Orpa Hawlader of MacDonald Drive Junior High, each walked away with a bronze medal for their projects
All three were chosen to represent the province previously through the Husky Energy Eastern Newfoundland Science and Technology Fair.
