Some services in the capital city will not go ahead today as it is Victoria Day.
There will be no garbage or recycling collection today, and Robin Hood Bay is closed.
Parking regulations throughout the city will not be enforced and public washrooms will be open at Bowering Park, Bannerman Park, and Quidi Vidi Lake.
The weekly St. John’s City Council meeting will not be going ahead this afternoon, instead, council will meet on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
