A long-time businessman in the capital city has passed away.
John “Otis” Fitzpatrick passed away on Wednesday following a battle with cancer. He was 66 years old.
Fitzpatrick was the owner of Fitz’s Cold Beer on Topsail Road and operated the business for the last 46 years.
He’s being remembered fondly for his good humour and passion for the business.
Visitation will take place Friday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Caul’s Funeral Home.
