Cannabis NL has released the names of successful applicants for eight new licenced cannabis retail locations in the province.

The agency reviewed 42 applications following a recent Request for Proposals. The successful candidates can now move on for licencing.

Ocean Releaf was successful in its proposal for five locations including Whitbourne, Bonavista, Port aux Basques, Clarenville and Torbay Road in St. John’s. Loblaw applied for the location at the old Memorial Stadium Dominion in St. John’s, and Atlantic Cultivation received the go-ahead for licenced locations on Broadway in Corner Brook and Water Street in St. John’s.
