The area around the Sir Humphrey Gilbert Building in downtown St. John’s is now open to traffic.

The building was evacuated this morning following the discovery of what RNC called a suspicious package.

Duckworth Street between King’s Road and Prescott Street was closed to traffic this afternoon.

The suspicious package was removed and the area has reopened as the investigation continues.
