The province’s very first Seniors’ Advocate is retiring from her position. Dr. Suzanne Brake was appointed to the newly created position in November of 2017.
Since that time she has worked on bringing the needs of seniors to the fore while advocating on their behalf.
Her first report was released in 2019 outlining a number of recommendations to help create a healthier population.
A process is now underway to find her replacement. Minister of Children, Seniors, and Social Development, John Abbott today offered his thanks to Brake for her leadership and advocacy.
