One of the fastest-growing municipalities in the province has unveiled its 50th anniversary plans.
The Town of Paradise was incorporated on July 13, 1971.
Mayor Dan Bobbitt says since then, Paradise has grown from a small town to one of the largest municipalities in the province.
He says they want all residents to join in a series of celebrations to mark the occasion.
The 50th anniversary Main Event will take place in Paradise Park on Saturday, July 17th with a mix of virtual, small group and in-person events planned in accordance with public health guidelines.
Details will be listed on the town of Paradise anniversary website as they are finalized.
