The Health Minister says despite repeated messages encouraging people to download the COVID Alert app, only 24 codes have been issued in relation to the Western Health region cluster.
There have been three separate COVID outbreaks in the province since February, with over 1,300 confirmed cases of the virus in just over a year.
Minister John Haggie told reporters yesterday he had a look at the latest figures about ten days ago.
He says while 24 codes were issued, he doesn’t have the figures for how many were actually used.
Haggie is renewing his plea for people to download the COVID Alert app.
