The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s mounted unit will soon be back on the grounds of Government House for the season.
A new partnership between the RNC and Rainbow Riders for a first responder equine therapy program saw the horses moved to facilities on Mount Scio Road on a part-time basis.
However, now that summer is near, many residents are wondering when the animals will be back as they are a popular sight, especially in the summer.
The Constabulary says some repairs are underway to the paddocks at Government House.
The horses should be back there within the next two weeks.
