The RNC is investigating a recent armed robbery in the capital city area.

Police say a lone suspect entered a service station on Portugal Cove Road around 2:30 Friday morning.

The young man approached the cashier, presented a weapon, and demanded cash before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robber is about 20 years old, and around 5′ 7″ tall. He was wearing a black and grey hoodie and black pants with white sneakers.
