A 49-year-old man from North West River returns to court today on a long list of serious offences including drug and sex-related charges.

Ashley Michelin was arrested on Friday after search warrants were executed on a home in North West River.

Michelin is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, sexual exploitation, luring a child, exposure, obtaining sexual services for consideration, uttering threats, possession of cocaine, and trafficking among others.

He was remanded to custody pending today’s appearance.
