The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor has presented what it’s calling its final offer to the union that represents its employees.
Negotiations on a new collective agreement between the Town and CUPE Local 1349 are still at an impasse.
While several meetings were held between June 28 and 30, no agreement has been reached.
On June 30, both the town and the union entered the legal position to initiate job action, however, the town says it is trying to avoid that by presenting a final offer.
The town is awaiting the union’s response.
