Residents of CBS are affected by a major water disruption today.

Crews are conducting emergency repairs affecting water pressure for all residents.

Mayor Terry French says the disruption will cause a drop in water pressure, and the possibility of water loss in some areas with locations in higher elevations most susceptible.

While the whole of CBS is involved, areas like Dunne’s Hill Road, Foxtrap Access Road, Legion Road and Tilley’s Road South may see a complete disruption. He’s hoping the lower elevations may not be affected.

Town officials estimate it will be late this evening before water is restored.
