A third deployment of forest firefighting personnel is heading to Ontario to help with continued fire threats in that province.

Eight forestry firefighters and one agency representative who will be responsible for coordinating equipment and crew logistics are among the latest group heading to Ontario.

The Department of Fisheries, Forestry, and Agriculture says adequate fire suppression resources remain in place in this province including four waterbombers, several helicopters, and firefighting staff.
