Liberal leader Justin Trudeau’s election campaign passed through Quidi Vidi Village last night.
It turned out to be a rainy evening at The Wharf in Quidi Vidi Village as both supporters and detractors of Trudeau gathered for the campaign rally.
As Trudeau stepped off his campaign bus he was confronted by a vocal group of protestors that stayed with him until he made his way into the sectioned-off rally area.
Over a megaphone, one protestor was chanting “vote no, Justin Trudeau must go.”

Trudeau’s fiery speech highlighted Liberal candidates Seamus O’Regan and Joanne Thompson, touted Canada’s vaccination rates and talked about building a better future for Canadians.
The Liberal leader also took a few opportunities to take jabs at Conservative leader Erin O’Toole, with Trudeau saying O’Toole wants to move the country backwards.
Stating that the Conservative leader would “rip up” the agreement for $10-a-day childcare.
Trudeau did not take any questions following his speech, mingling with those in attendance for a bit before heading back to the campaign bus.
