A varied display of electric vehicles drew the curious as well as potential buyers to the second level of the Avalon Mall parking garage on Saturday.
Drive Electric NL, which was behind the event, says the next vehicle for many families will likely be electric, so they wanted to give people a chance to meet and talk to owners, and literally kick the tires of the new vehicles on the market.
There are an estimated 250 electric vehicles currently in the province, with more and more charging stations being set up across the province.
