Satellite ballot drop-off centres will be open in the capital city on election day.
Residents of St. John’s who wish to drop off their completed Vote-by-Mail kits, or to register and vote in person, can do so at a drop-off centre from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m on Tuesday. The ballots will then be sent to City Hall for counting.
The exact time the results will come in is not known, however in previous elections the results were available before 11 p.m. The unofficial results will be published on the city’s website.
Meanwhile. St. John’s city council is holding its regular meeting virtually this afternoon as a precautionary measure due to exposure to COVID-19.
