Newfoundland and Labrador is officially moving towards mandating vaccines for public employees.
According to Premier Andrew Furey, consultations are taking place with the province’s unions, and he hopes that within the next week they will be able to bring the mandate in.
Furey says thus far the reception from union leaders has been positive.
He says most unions want to have input into how mandatory vaccines will look, but generally the unions have been receptive.
