Coffee or Tea?
If may not come as a surprise that more Newfoundlanders and Labradorians prefer tea than do their counterparts in Atlantic Canada.
Those are the findings of a recent survey by Narrative Research. While the majority of those in all four Atlantic provinces prefer coffee over tea, the highest number of people who prefer tea—34 per cent—is in this province.
CEO of Narrative Research, Margaret Brigley, says the survey also offered a bit of insight into who those tea-drinkers are.
She says women are slightly more likely to prefer tea, and those over the age of 55 are more likely to prefer tea over coffee. She says the 18 to 30 age group has a much stronger preference for coffee.
