A Corner Brook man is facing child pornography charges after child sex dolls were seized by Canada Border Services Agency officials in August of 2020.
Police were contacted by the CBSA after a child sex doll destined for the residence of 32-year-old Rudolfo Henriques was intercepted.
A search warrant was obtained and the subsequent search resulted in two charges of possession of child pornography against Henriques.
He’s scheduled to answer to the charges in Corner Brook provincial court on January 11.
RCMP say child pornography can take different forms, from sexual images or videos of children, to written or audio forms or in some cases, “visual representation” of a child, and is prohibited under the Criminal Code of Canada.
