It’s municipal election day in the town of Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove.
Only three people came forward to run for council back in September, two for the mayor’s seat and one for a position on council.
The vote for mayor went ahead resulting in a win for Dennis Hickey, while Brian Roche was acclaimed to council.
The election for the remaining five council seats is going ahead today with 13 candidates on the ballot.
