The executive director of the Association of Seafood Producers has been recognized with an NL Economic Developer of the Year Award by the Economic Developers Association of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Chair of the ASP, Greg Viscount says Derek Butler has “gone above and beyond” in challenging times in his role as Executive Director.
According to the ASP, the province’s seafood industry represents a quarter of Canada’s seafood and adds over $1 billion dollars annually to the provincial economy.
