RCMP confirm a man died in Happy Valley-Goose Bay after being found unresponsive in the snow near the Housing Hub on Hillcrest Road on the morning of Tuesday, December 7.
Temperatures were about minus 15 at the time.
Police say efforts to resuscitate the man were carried out as he was transported to hospital, but he was pronounced dead soon after arrival.
The man’s death is not believed to be criminal in nature.
