The Labrador coastal marine service is wrapping up for the season.
The Kamutik W departed Goose Bay Wednesday, bound for the north coast on its last sailing of the year.
Labrador Marine Inc says cargo and private vehicle traffic set new records on the service this year, while passenger traffic recovered from 2020, and surpassed numbers prior to the pandemic.
The volume of freight was so great says Labrador Marine, an extra trip was needed.
The vessel will tie up at Lewisporte for the winter for regular maintenance.
