The Kids Eat Smart Foundation has been announced as the winner of the iA Financial Group’s philanthropic contest for the Atlantic/North region, coming with a significant financial donation.
This year, the contest focused on charities that help children, with $500,000 being donated in total.
The foundation will receive $100,000 from the contest.
As well, iA Group employees voted the charity as their favourite in the region, meaning an additional $5,000 towards the organization.
It costs the foundation $1 per breakfast, meaning 105,000 breakfasts in total for students across the province.
