Another 27 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 are being reported in Newfoundland and Labrador today.
That’s the exact same number reported on Monday.
Nine of the new cases are in the Eastern Health region, 10 are in the Central Health region and eight are in Western Health.
There are six new recoveries, leaving 175 active cases and no hospitalizations due to the virus in the province.
On Friday, the provincial government put extra precautions in place for those who are most vulnerable.
A maximum of two people at a time are allowed to visit residents of long-term care or personal care homes, and there can be different people for each visit.
