The overnight parking ban on St. John’s streets will be expanded beyond the designated Downtown and Business District as of 12:30 Wednesday morning.
The restriction is in effect daily, and tickets can be issued to vehicles parked on the street between 12:30 and 7:30 a.m., regardless of weather and street conditions.
From December 1 to March 31, parking is prohibited 24 hours a day on streets designated as snow routes.
Those streets are marked with signs, with restrictions in place so ice control and snow-clearing equipment can safely clear the streets.
