There will be another walk-in booster clinic at Waterford Valley High in St. John’s today. This time it’s for people 50 and older. The Moderna vaccine will be offered.
Health-care workers, including nursing home staff and home-care workers, first responders, teachers and daycare staff 30 years of age and older can also attend. As with yesterday, you have to approach the clinic in the eastbound lane. Westbound traffic will not be permitted entry.
The clinic was well received by those who showed up to get their third shot of the COVID-19 vaccine on Wednesday. It was for those 70 years and over.
Of the dozen or so people who spoke with VOCM News, one woman summed up the service. She says it was “excellent,” saying the staff made the experience of getting her third shot that much easier.
