Public Health officials are in conversation with the regional health authorities to put measures in place to deliver vaccines more effectively.

That’s according to Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald.

The PC Opposition is urging government to call in the military to help deliver vaccines to residents of Labrador, who are dealing with an outbreak that is having a significant impact on the region.

Fitzgerald says while the decision to call in the military is not hers to make, efforts are underway to help with the delivery of vaccines and boosters.
