A man and woman are facing a number of drugs and weapons related charged following the search of a Carbonear home late last week.

RCMP and Police Service Dog Grinch searched the home, resulting in the seizure of a quantity of drugs including crystal meth, cocaine, prescription pills and suspected fentanyl.

A quantity of cash, firearms, ammunition and a stun gun were also located and seized.

The 38-year-old man and 25-year-old woman are each facing charges of possession, careless storage of ammunition and possession of a prohibited weapon. Samples of the drugs seized have been sent for analysis and confirmation while the investigation continues
