The Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions is applauding action taken by the provincial government to try to prevent people from interfering with the delivery of health care services.
President Linda Silas was responding to the provincial government’s decision to introduce new legislation that, if passed, will establish a 50 metre zone around health care and educational sites to allow patients and health care workers to come and go without emotional upset.
She congratulates government for putting a stop to actions that could prevent nurses and other health care workers from doing their jobs.
