The province is reporting another 686 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and eight people in hospital.

Three of those hospitalizations are in ICU.

520 of those cases have been confirmed since yesterday, while the other 166 are from tests that were previously sent out-of-province.

519 are in the Eastern Health region, 52 are in Central Health, 50 in Western Health and 52 in Labrador-Grenfell Health.

Thirteen cases are the result of testing completed in a private lab.

With 998 reported recoveries, there are 6,131 active cases in the province.
