Fuel prices are going up for the sixth week in a row. Gas Wizard is predicting that gas will cost close to three cents a litre more in Newfoundland and Labrador tomorrow morning, pushing it to over $1.60 per litre.
Diesel goes up by over three cents per litre while home heating fuels will increase by about three cents even.
Dan McTeague, a gas analyst and president of Canadians for Affordable Energy, says this is only the beginning as the world is producing far less oil than it is consuming.
