The Health Accord is being pushed back.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Health Accord final report was originally set to drop in mid-January, but due to the move to Alerts Level 4 and the latest wave of COVID-19, it will now be submitted in early February.
The subsequent Implementation Plan, which will include the calls to action to transform the health system, will be delivered in early March.
Many members of the Task Force who work in health care have had to shift their focus to pandemic response, to help reduce the strain on the province’s system.
