A man from Grand Falls-Windsor has been arrested for impaired driving after he was said to be unresponsive inside an idling truck.
Shortly after 9 a.m. on Monday police received a report from a municipal officer with the town that a man was unresponsive in his truck, which was parked and idling outside a local business.
The 23-year-old man was arrested by police after he showed signs of drug impairment and refused to give a blood sample.
He’s been released from custody and will appear in court at a later date to answer to a charge of refusal. His license was suspended and the vehicle impounded.
