The provincial government is encouraging employers looking to meet their labour demand to become designated for the Atlantic Immigration Program.
To become designated, employers must hire full-time, non-seasonal international applicants who will work 30 hours each week, and have a business that has been under the same management for at least two years in the Atlantic Region.
Employers must also agree to support the candidate’s and their family’s access to settlement services, as well as understand the reporting requirements of the program.
