Newfoundland Power crews have completed emergency repairs at a substation in Victoria.
An outage caused by arcing affected about 2,000 customers over a wide portion of the Conception Bay North Shore from Victoria to Ochre Pit Cove.
Newfoundland Power said the arcing was on one of the switches in the substation and likely caused by weather conditions in the area.
Power was restored by 10 p.m.
