Deer Lake RCMP ticketed two suspended drivers caught twice in one day after trying the old switcheroo.
Police pulled over a vehicle around 9:15 Saturday evening in Pasadena after receiving a report of a suspected suspended driver traveling from Corner Brook to Pasadena.
The driver, a 44-year-old man who had a suspended driving licence had a passenger on board whose licence was also suspended. Police seized and impounded the vehicle and the driver, who already owes more than $30,000 dollars in fines was charged with driving while suspended.
A short time later, police pulled over a vehicle in Pasadena and found the same two men, this time, with the 26-year-old passenger at the wheel. He was ticketed for driving while suspended and the vehicle was seized and impounded.
