Over 100 trucks are in position in front of Parliament Hill in Ottawa to protest vaccine mandates for border crossings; while a significant crowd formed in front of Confederation Building in this province this afternoon, in solidarity with those in the nation capital.

The Ottawa protest has been peaceful, and organizers assure that emergency lanes are being kept clear to allow personnel through.

While a vehicle had made its way onto the cenotaph of the Parliament Building, police have since had the vehicle moved. Area police had some intelligence saying there could be violence.

Hundreds of demonstrators are marching up and down Wellington Street, that runs in front of Parliament Hill and the Prime Minister’s Office. The total number of protestors and the duration of the demonstration is not yet known.
