The City of St. John’s is looking to hear from young residents to improve communication with the city’s youth.

Any young person looking to get involved with the city can apply to be apart of the Youth Engagement Working Group or the Youth Panel.

The working group is a formal commitment for a term of around two years with quarterly meetings to oversee the implementation of the Youth Engagement Strategy.

They will also participate in ongoing discussions with council on a variety of issues.

Those who sign up for the ongoing Youth Panel will receive direct messages to provide feedback on specific topics.

The panel will be comprised of people between the ages of 18 and 30.
