Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting 110 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today, one of the lowest daily case counts in some time as well as 21 hospitalizations.
However, the Department of Health notes that the adverse weather across the province Saturday affected both attendance at testing sites and the delivery of specimens for testing. In total, 579 tests have been completed since yesterday.
Of the new cases, 88 are in Eastern Health, five in Central Health, 14 in Western Health, and three in Labrador-Grenfell Health.
There are 1,557 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.
